      Job Description

      THE ROLE: Senior Analyst, Participations (Temporary)

      This temporary contract role provides coverage during a three-month medical leave for a Senior Analyst on the Participations team. The role is responsible for preparing quarterly profit participation statements for A+E Global Media’s television and film content. This includes analyzing revenue data, interpreting contractual terms, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in participations or entertainment accounting and be comfortable with working independently in a fast-paced environment.

      MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO:

      • Analyze and prepare quarterly profit participation statements based on contractual financial terms

      • Reconcile sales feeds and suspense reports to ensure accurate financial inputs and allocation

      • Maintain product library identifiers for new digital and license sales; ensure metadata accuracy

      • Partner with Legal, International, Licensing, and other internal teams to gather and verify participations data

      • Assist with system enhancements, process improvements, and documentation of procedures

      • Respond to participant inquiries, audit requests, and disputes with professionalism and accuracy

      • Support the finance team with ad-hoc analysis, accruals, and forecasting efforts

      BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

      • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.

      • 2+ years of experience in participations, royalties, or entertainment finance.

      • Strong ability to read and interpret complex financial contract terms.

      • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

      THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

      • Highly organized and detail-oriented.

      • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.

      • Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally in collaborative environment.

      • Experience with utilizing AI tools is a plus (e.g. ChatGPT).

      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

      Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third-party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.

      Compensation

      Contract Hourly Pay Rate: $65.00
