Overview Bayview Asset Management, LLC seeks a Senior Analyst, Residential Whole Loan Trading in our New York, New York location to: Incorporate market rates and margin changes to daily rate-sheet updates for different residential whole loan products; Perform pricing and valuation of whole loan pools for purchase into company’s proprietary funds; Apply quantitative and statistical methods to develop cash flow models, which are consequently used for pricing and valuation of residential mortgage loan pools; Conduct quantitative analysis on investment strategies in the residential mortgage universe; Review trends in performance of whole loan acquisitions and identify areas where performance can be positively influenced; Analyze current financial market development and research industry trends to help with development of new residential whole loan programs; and Utilize MS-Excel, SQL and CAS tools to extract data necessary for portfolio analysis and return attribution. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computational Finance, Quantitative Finance, or related field plus three (3) years of experience in pricing and valuation in fixed income/residential mortgage market, and specifically with the following: Financial modeling using any combination of the following: VBA, MS-Excel, SQL, SAS, CAS, Bloomberg, Yield Book; Quantitative and statistical data analysis using Python, R; Pricing of mortgage portfolios; and Presenting portfolio analytics (evaluation and risk analytics) to senior management.
