Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors.
Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs.
Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements.
Lead or participate on large cross group projects.
Mentor less experienced staff.
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area.
4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
3+ years of SQL and SAS experience.
1+ year of Teradata experience.
Experience in Financial Services working with line of business data, which could include Consumer Lending, e.g., Auto Lending, Home Lending, Credit Card, Retail Banking, Merchant Services, Personal Lending, Deposits, Wealth & Investment Management.
Experience in gathering, researching, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills (Verbal/Written) with the ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience.
Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities.
Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions.
Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Ability to work on site per Wells Fargo's standard operating model in one of the listed locations.

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant in the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence supporting the Remediation Analytics Team. The primary responsibilities for this role include utilizing database knowledge and business process to perform advanced data analysis to accurately identify populations of customers that require remediation. Additionally, calculate the refund, and account adjustment or other resolution. These roles will support the Home Lending business.
