- Research and resolve complex data exchange issues.
- Test API connections with Trading Partners for new employer groups.
- Support renewal cases with changes to their feed structure
- Production and File Coding support for the Data Operations Specialist
- Participate with the broker, policyholder, and trading partner on all status calls, including kick off call
- Managing the implementation schedule, completing regular case follow-ups including reporting status and communicating when activities are complete or in jeopardy of being delayed.
- Collaborate with Sun Life team members, the client and broker on expectation management and work effectively with all involved Sun Life and installation teams from start to finish of the new product and file feed installation.
- Be the point of contact for the broker and policyholder for all feed questions during the implementation.
- Ensure smooth transition to production from testing
- Participate in building training content and facilitating training to our field partners and home office staff regarding our data electronic capabilities.
- Work Collaboratively with the DDCoE Team and with assigned Trading Partner’s to help build out partnerships.
- 3 years’ experience working with API digital connections between insurance carriers and Benefit Administration platforms.
- Ability to communicate and translate IT requirements to customers.
- Ability to analyze information, prioritize and solve recurring issues.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with designated timelines.
- Ability to develop and manage relationships with Trading Partners
- Working knowledge of Workday.
- Knowledge of API Implementation with clients is required.
- Knowledge of Workday API implementation with clients is required.
- Highly motivated and disciplined.
- Strong attention to details.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3 years’ experience working with API digital connections between insurance carriers and Benefit Administration platforms.
- 4 years’ experience in a client facing position.
- Excellent organization and time management skills

- Ability to apply past learning’s to develop long-term solutions.

Overview
The Senior API Operations Consultant position is a professional client interacting position, which focuses on a range of implementation activities designed to achieve a high level of customer service and satisfaction during the implementation of Application Program Interface (API) digital connections with Sun Life and their clients and trading partners. This position is also responsible for some testing of API connections with clients and trading partners. The API Operations Consultant requires a high level of independent judgement and decision making throughout the implementation and testing process.

If you are a Colorado resident, the salary range for this position is $85,600-128,400 annually.
If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $101,100-151,700 annually.
If you are Washington resident, the salary range for this position is $94,600-141,900 annually.
