What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary liaison between the application team and user community, facilitating communication and coordinating system enhancements
- Collaborate with users to define detailed business requirements for system configuration and development
- Guide the user community in defining business use cases to ensure quality assurance efforts meet business needs
- Oversee internal quality assurance efforts to verify functional system behavior
- Provide implementation and production support for software components of moderate to high complexity
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical/business area plus 4 years of IT or business experience
- 6 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Advanced knowledge of systems analysis with a focus on customer requirements and software development lifecycle
- Strong experience in healthcare (Health Plan) domain
- Proficiency in writing Business Requirements Documents and EDI Guides
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with writing SQL queries and analyzing data
- Familiarity with Health Plan EDI mapping and processing, including 278/837/834/820/835
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and adapt to new systems easily
- Excellent documentation skills and proficiency in Excel
