- Collaborate with architects, design leads, physical design leads, and package leads to develop and optimize floorplans during early chip development.
- Lead the area review process and work with the ASIC design team to identify improvements in area, interconnect, and floorplanning.
- Address timing and routing congestion issues by influencing early design and physical implementation decisions.
- Develop tools and enhance existing infrastructure to optimize chip area and speed of execution.
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong hardware engineering background with expertise in VLSI and/or Computer Architecture.
- Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or similar Hardware Verification Languages (HVL).
- Familiarity with CAD, physical design methodologies, chip floorplanning, power/clock distribution, packaging, P&R, and timing closure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team-oriented attitude.
- Programming experience in Python, Perl, and C/C++.
- Experience leading the development of large-scale ASIC floorplans is highly desirable.

The base salary range is $168,000 to $310,500, determined by location, experience, and comparable roles. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
