      We will count on you to:

      • Attend internal strategy meetings to gain a deeper understanding of the work Marsh and our client’s do, allowing for better assisting of Marine Advisory colleagues.
      • In collaboration with Marine Advisory colleagues, assist in the creation of presentations and marketing submissions, including coverage specifications and program summaries.
      • Assist in preparing proposal components including the analysis of pricing, coverage terms and conditions, services, quote comparisons, financing, commentary and recommendations.
      • Monitor the renewal and binder control system to ensure tasks are progressing according to schedule.
      • Request follow-up for changes and policy documentation from underwriters to ensure coverage is correct and current.
      • Maintain ongoing relationship with clients, markets and team colleagues to effectively service clients and properly assist Marine Advisory colleagues.
      • Understand and comply with compliance and transparency standards.
      • Participate in education forums to deepen knowledge of the Marine Insurance industry
      • Perform more complex administrative functions, including but not limited to data entry into proprietary systems, electronic filing, invoicing and other support to Marine Advisory colleagues.

      What you need to have:

      • Client facing professional experience in business administration, finance or communications
      • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
      • Must be organized and able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment, tracking open items and following up through completion
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Keen attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
      • Broker licensed OR able and willing to obtain within 90 days.
