      What you get to do:

      The Capital Markets Senior Associate is an essential member of the Finance team to support our management of liquidity and working capital. Given that cash is our "inventory," you will help lead the long-term financial trajectory of the firm. You will focus on other essential functions, including covenant compliance reporting for our best in class lending partners, modeling cash flow projections under several capital structure scenarios, and funding allocation optimization.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Develop financial models for liquidity and cash flow management.
      • Analyze cash capacity and guide the strategy for loan originations.
      • Partner with senior management in leading our capital market strategy.
      • Responsible for relationship management with our lenders.
      • Evaluate criteria for new deals with lenders and be able to provide counter proposals.
      • Monitor and own covenant forecasting and related communication to upper management.
      • Plan short-term and long -term liquidity. Make decisions and suggestions to management surrounding cash and debt management.
      • Work with various teams to develop/build reporting related to new deals.
      • Present business updates to capital markets counterparts externally.
      • Prepare investor, Board and management presentations.
      • Prepare borrowing bases/monthly servicing reports.
      • Automate/improve manual processes.
      • Develop internal dashboards to track performance metrics.
      • Assist in project management for corporate development transactions.

      What you will bring to the team:

      • Minimum 3+ years of work experience, with a strong preference for a role focused on finance, data analysis, and operations
      • Advanced Excel - Pivot Tables/VLookups, experience working with large datasets. There will be a timed test.
      • BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or other quantitative degree
      • Familiarity with accounting/forecasting concepts
      • Great organizational skills/ability to keep up with multiple deadlines
      • Detail-oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry and analysis
      • Ability to clearly communicate and organize analysis to present to senior management
      • Adaptability to changes and ability to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment
      • A natural curiosity to think critically, to ask questions, and to evolve our business
      • A team-oriented mentality and a positive attitude

      Bonus points:

      • Experience with ABS, securitization, asset-based lending, debt capital markets a plus
      • Experience with SQL/any other programming language a plus
      • Experience with prior fintech or specialty finance experience a plus

      Total Rewards and Benefits

      The starting base salary for this position is $85,600/year. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on the candidate’s job-related skills and experience. The total compensation package includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses as well as a 1-time equity grant based on level.

      The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
