- Support with the media engagement supporting BNY’s proactive and reactive media approach in APAC.
- Support the team and PR agency with in-bound and out-bound, day-to-day press engagement, helping to arrange media meetings, and brief spokespeople.
- Develop messaging, press releases, Q&A and other communication collateral, including social media to support the delivery of LinkedIn activity for leading spokespeople.
- Contribute to the distributing of media announcements, as well as leading the maintenance of targeted media distribution lists.
- Media Evaluation & Reporting; support communications metrics and measurement activity
- Support with internal communications for APAC, planning, writing and promoting content for a range of internal communications channels such as intranet, Town Hall meetings, presentations and leadership communications.
- Ensure all internal communications content is engaging and has a consistent tone of voice, and internal and external messages are aligned.
- 5-6 years of professional experience in media relations and corporate communications
- Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
- Demonstrated track record of developing and executing internal and external communications and media relations for a large, publicly traded company (financial services or another heavily regulated industry preferred)
- Strong project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines, juggle multiple priorities and execute flawlessly with great attention to detail.
- Ability to successfully drive initiatives from development to completion.
- Strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills; reputation for honesty and integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
