      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Monitor and conduct original research on the White House, federal agencies, Congress, and key states
      - Provide updates on state and federal elections and candidates
      - Support long-term research projects focused on the influence of Big Oil
      - Identify opportunities for opposition research and rapid response
      - Draft reports, fact sheets, and research materials for communications and media

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - 3 years of relevant work experience in political research, preferably with opposition research or electoral campaigns
      - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse groups
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in bullet-format political research documents
      - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision
      - Familiarity with research tools like LexisNexis and campaign finance filings, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace

      - Interest in climate justice and related advocacy work
      - Experience working in a campaign or issue advocacy organization
