- Primary delivery responsibility in the execution of commercial due diligences, opportunity assessment, business planning and strategy engagements for corporates as well as PE clients.
- Develop business strategies using approaches such as market analysis, customer research, macroeconomic trends, benchmarking, portfolio analysis etc.
- Plan and manage key deliverables in line with scope of the engagement.
- Effectively lead small teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
- Support BD/ proposal development in key sectors and internally across the broader EY and Transaction Advisory Services organization.
- Strong problem skills including problem statement structuring, quantitative & qualitative analysis, ability to generate insights from complex data and structure the output.
- Experience and demonstrated ability in delivering business strategy and diligence projects
- Strong communication skills including oral and written communication, ability to make high quality presentations and synthesize output as a coherent storyline. This together with an ability to have conversation with senior executives.
- Strong financial modelling skills and clarity of financial concepts
- Creative ability towards identifying new approaches/solutions in complex situations.
- Desire to collaborate, contribute and succeed in a fun, exciting, collegial, and a challenging environment.
- Go-getter mindset & attitude. Ability to adapt with changing requirements.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- 2-4 years of strategy consulting / diligence experience with a top tier consulting firm or a strategy / M&A / growth transformation role in a pedigreed corporate

The opportunity:
Senior Associate – Strategy & Transactions – Strategy
Senior Associates work under the supervision of an engagement lead (Manager / Senior Manager) and act as the primary delivery engine on EY Strategy engagement teams. They are responsible for leading and executing specific workstreams and deliverables on an engagement to address client’s problem statements. They execute these tasks via day-to-day problem-solving, structured quantitative & qualitative analysis and research (secondary and primary). They serve as key analytical engine who synthesize data and findings into relevant insights and messages for the client. They are also are also responsible for presenting these findings and insights to the client in a clear, top-down and concise manner. They also coach junior team members. Additionally, they support the growth of the business by working alongside Managers/Directors/Partners on new opportunities with potential clients, including preparing for and participating in pitch meetings, creating proposals, and working on the transaction process.
