As the Sr. Associate, SEO, reporting to the Supervisor, SEO or Associate Director; you will be responsible for researching and implementing innovative SEO/Content projects for enterprise clients. This person will work closely with the overall Content Solutions/SEO team and BCL teams to identify obstacles to optimal natural ranking on the client’s site and digital assets, deliver recommendations to remove these obstacles, and then work with the client and the SEO team to properly optimize the client’s digital assets. Specifically, the Sr. Strategist will be analyzing client sites and assets for technical issues and opportunities, conducting extensive consumer keyword and content research, and consulting throughout the implementation process to help clients reach their established goals. In this role you will have the opportunity to make this role your own: help define our strategic offering, build the narrative and positioning of our agency to share with prospects You will have the freedom to be brave, to try new things in our quest to build an agency that matters to its people and its clients As a pivotal team member within our SEO account team, the below will give you a sense of what your daily, weekly interactions can consist of; About the role: 1. Develop and implement SEO campaigns, strategies and initiatives. 2. Assist client teams in developing SEO strategies and content programs that meet client business goals. 3. Support client teams on SEO e-retail optimizations and input these optimizations into client used platform tool to monitor and manage them. 4. Conduct Natural Search Research 5. Create client-facing presentations, research, and execution documents. 6. Research and implement linking strategies 7. QA monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports per client’s business specs. 8. Be the expert on search user intent and keyword clustering for your client’s priority topics 9. Identify trending content opportunities and shifts in the organic landscape as it relates to client industries/verticals. 10. Collaborate with client’s technical and content team(s) in order to implement proposed recommendations. 11. Work with cross-functional departments, including Paid Search and Social Media, to develop and track all details of SEO initiatives and digital performance. 12. Conduct and implement multiple page-level optimizations per client’s business needs 13. Maintain expertise on search engine news and trends 14. Provide hands-on training and guidance to SEO Assistant Associates, especially for the SEO e-retail optimizations About you 2+ years of tactical and strategic experience in SEO (search engine optimization) either in-house or agency environments preferred. BS/BA in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, MIS or Statistics. Have experience writing copy, with an understanding of how to write for both users and search engines at once. Have a working knowledge of leading Web Analytics and SEO tools such as, Screaming frog Google Analytics Adobe Bright Edge SEMRush Conductor Google Looker Studio Google Search Console Eager to learn about new SEO tools and other platforms used with client teams Have a proven record of page placement and website optimization. Have a strong understanding of technical SEO Enjoy problem solving and adapting to new technologies and processes. Compensation Range: $35,000 - $60,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
