What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems
- Lead design sessions and code reviews to elevate engineering quality
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle
- Mentor fellow engineers and share best practices
- Utilize various programming languages and tools to develop and maintain applications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Fluency in at least two modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or Golang
- Proven understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- 3+ years of experience with architecture and design
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Familiarity with application monitoring tools and performance assessments
- Knowledge of security protocols including Active Directory and OAuth
- Experience in securing web applications
- Understanding of continuous delivery and infrastructure as code
