Hybrid Working

Structured hybrid role:
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction:

o Understand the designs and work on Test Preparation and Execution
o Able to peer review Test cases, Test Automation
o Improve process related to local environment creation
o Bring innovative ideas to solve technical challenges

What will you be doing?

Application System Testing

o Collaborate and communicate with developers and other test analysts to build Test Automation pack
o Understand requirements and Low level Design
o Understand and Adhere to standards already laid out
o Should be able to code based on low level designs
o Good understanding of a Testers responsibility in Agile – Feature team environment

What we’re looking for:

Desirable Skills:
o Proven experience in Digital using different automation tools and frameworks
o Automated test data creation,
o Manual and Automation Testing processes,
o Ability to code, ideally in Java,
o API Testing one of: REST Client, SOAP UI, Postman, JMeter
o Jira or similar ALM tools,
o Knowledge of automated testing, continuous integration tools (preferably Jenkins) and deployment tools and practices
Work Experience: 7-8 Years

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Software development methodologies, e.g. waterfall and agile.
• Sound hands-on Experience in TAL/COBOL/SCOBOL/TACL programming language
• Strong Working experience of ACI Base24 Classic ATM, POS, ISO 8583 and TSS
• Good knowledge of DDL, ISO 8583, Visa, BNET& Link
• Knowledge of VersaTest simulator preferred
• Sound knowledge of EMV, NDC processing and Active:Active system

• Knowledge of automated testing, continuous integration and deployment tools and practices.
• Maintaining an in-depth understanding of relevant and up to date technical knowledge, applications and techniques.
• Strong level of experience of IT software development (essential).
