      The Department of Surgery and Perioperative Services:

      • This role will have a primary focus in assisting the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Department of Surgery and Perioperative Services in delivering the significant elective surgery uplift announced by the State Government in the 2021-22 Budget
      • The occupant will be based at the LGH and will support the co-ordination and management of elective surgery outsourced to private hospitals in accordance with the Tasmanian Health Service Elective Surgery Contract and other contractual arrangements
      • The occupant will also provide general business and analytical support to the LGH Surgical Services team

      The role:

      • The Senior Business Analyst role provides complex analyses and reporting that is accurate, reliable, and tailored to meet the requirements of Government and the Department of Health. Through the application of specialised advice, business analysis and modelling, and standardised project management methodology, as appropriate, the role is engaged in one or more complex activities that implements high priority Government initiatives to address increasing pressure on Tasmania’s public hospitals and across the broader Tasmanian health system and enhances the performance of assigned programs, projects and/or service delivery.

      Details of Appointment

      Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as we can onboard you.

      • Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

      Salary: $104,756 to $118,730 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

      You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible

      • Relevant tertiary qualifications
