Elicit, analyze and document business requirements, business rules and data sources and work with business users, IT stakeholders and development teams throughout system implementation and delivery
Pro-actively communicate and collaborate with business clients to analyze functional/data/nonfunctional requirements and deliver the appropriate artefacts as needed: business requirement documents, functional specifications, data specifications, use cases, workflow analysis, reports, etc.
Act as the first line of contact to interface with Finance/Risk business users for requirement delivery approach and for managing requirements interdependencies
As a key member of the project team, the BA works with the project manager, development manager, developers, business analysts, and quality assurance teams to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget
Participate and assist with business testing, solution readiness, operational readiness and warranty support activities
Enable, engage and lead the stakeholders to final agreements.
Access change requests, perform impact analysis & identification/management of risk
Develop knowledge and become subject matter expert resource, supporting development of application roadmap/solution design etc.
Solid understanding of Finance business processes such as Balance Sheet Reporting, Profit and Loss Reporting, and Regulatory Reporting
Solid understanding of retail lending space , collateral management, Trade life cycle & off balance sheet exposures
Experience of working in data oriented projects using Iterative and Agile methodology as a business or systems analysis lead
Experience of working in the application landscape consisting of data stores, DataMart & data warehouse with decent understanding of data transfer & interaction mechanism
In depth knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes
Experience in writing SQL statements for qualitative and validation purposes
Understanding of IT methodologies
Business Analysis certification and/or completion of Business Analysis training courses.
Reference Data Management knowledge
University degree in Math, Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related discipline

The Data Management Team is responsible for the development and maintenance of Finance Core Technology Platform. CORE is “one stop shop” for the positions, Sub-ledger balances and GL balances for all RBC front and back office systems. The Senior Business Analyst will derive the requirements related to new system onboarding within CORE related to RBC retail & capital market positional exposures supporting different strategic regulatory programs. Additionally, the incumbent will also support enhancement of existing data model framework via which data is maintained within CORE to support different reporting needs of business users and other CORE functionalities like Core Control Framework etc.
