      The Broker-Distributed Commercial Insurance Program team is a small team of about a dozen people. The team was recently set up to support the creation, implementation and development of Desjardins Insurance’s brokerage arm for commercial insurance. Our goal is to better support our business members and clients by offering enhanced coverage for businesses. As a senior business analyst, you help with projects focused on integrating our new brokerage manufacturing operation and developing our new broker partner network. Your primary role is to analyze the organization’s business needs and business context for acquisition and integration projects. You help identify needs, clarify the project’s scope, and assess and recommend business solutions. You also analyze the impact of these projects on the organization and make recommendations to minimize their impacts and optimize value creation. Interpersonal savvy and the ability to balance the interests of multiple parties are essential. More specifically, you will be required to:

      • Lead large-scale, strategic projects in collaboration with the product owner and project manager

      • Analyze costs, benefits, risks, constraints, business opportunities and needs to be factored into the project’s scope

      • Identify, formalize and communicate needs and requirements to the various parties involved

      • Formalize business objectives and model processes

      • Create required solutions with the project team and collaborators from various sectors, ensuring alignment with business objectives

      • Analyze impacts with parties involved, and identify prerequisites and internal dependencies

      • Carry out change management activities

      • Support the organization and target during solution rollouts

      What you bring to the table

      • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science or a related field

      • A minimum of six years of relevant experience in a business analyst or equivalent role

      • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

      • Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec

      • Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

      • Expertise in an agile environment

      • Solid understanding of the methodology adopted in project mode
