      Senior Business Analyst , Rancho Santa Margarita, CA

      Responsibilities: Utilize SAP CRM technical skills to design solutions & system architecture. Utilize SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) knowledge to improve the usability of CRM applications within the company. Configure the system to support new projects & enhancement while gaining a thorough understanding of the current CRM configuration. Configure and/or customize the CRM system settings related to Sales, Service & Marketing modules, including both Master Data setup & Transactional data setup & settings for Middleware, Web UI/Business Roles. Look for improvements in CRM integration with other SAP, non-SAP systems, & work with other teams to improve solutions & processes. Support day-to-day operation issues of the system performing root cause discovery analysis, identify, resolve & improve issues. Participate in all phases of the business application lifecycle including design, development, validation, deployment, & post-deployment follow-ups. Gather requirements from business users, & document detailed software requirements. Create mock-ups & prototypes using Visio, & other tools & or SAP User Interface to demonstrate system Proof of Concept. Maintain requirements & supporting artifacts associated to the project as outlined in department processes. Leverage existing business application designs to improve maintenance & lower the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Create test plans for requirements following the department test case template. Conduct unit tests while programming modules & perform unit testing before doing actual system tests. Perform a full set of application regression tests. Oversee post-deployment follow ups & communication to ensure implementation meets & exceeds expectations. Establish industry best practices for business application development across the organization. Ensure chosen architecture templates & standard documentation for the project and/or software changes are being used & are relevant to the SAP CRM package. Stay up to date with the industry’s best practices & implement them within the company when relevant. Implement & test customizations & enhancements to business applications. Follow the company’s common Software Change Request process (SCR) to execute changes to existing business applications. Assess & estimate the effort for making enhancements & perform impact analysis for the proposed changes. Implement the changes & perform unit & system testing. Create test plans for requirements following the department test case template. Conduct unit tests while programming modules & perform unit testing before doing actual system tests. Perform a full set of application regression tests. Participate in preparing unit & integration test scripts in HPALM. Perform the testing & support business users during User Acceptance Test (UAT). Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements, coordinate business application validation, & identify process areas for web & mobile enablement. Conduct & participate in meetings, preparing agendas, taking notes, & doing follow-ups with different stakeholders including business users, & internal & external customers. Participate in developing business blueprints, functional specifications, technical specifications, business process procedures, mapping documents, & test plans. Improve systems & processes around requirements gathering, software change development & defect tracking. Use, create & improve requirements, gather templates for projects, & change requests. Improve defect & feedback tracking process on projects using surveys & other means. Participate in process improvement initiatives within the department. Collaborate with various departments such as the Sales, & Operation teams to understand, recommend, & improve requirements, software change development, & defect tracking processes. Participate in the development of business processes based on business requirements & functional designs for major initiatives ensuring an end-to-end process solution.

      Qualifications: THIS POSITION REQUIRES A BACHELOR’S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN BUSINESS, COMPUTER SCIENCE, MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS, OR CLOSELY RELATED FIELD, PLUS 5 YEAR WORK EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS & SYSTEMS ANALYSIS OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED OCCUPATION.

      Special Requirements: EXPERTISE/ KNOWLEDGE OF: 1. Experience in documenting functional specifications, process flows, and technical documentation related to SAP CRM which ensures all stakeholders, including developers, designers, and project managers, have a clear understanding of what needs to be built and also help ensure that the final product meets the needs and expectations of the end users 2. Experience with the configuration of SAP CRM settings related to Web User Interface (WEBUI), Partner Processing, Organizational Model, Business and Technical Roles, Actions Profile, Middleware, Campaign Management, Master Data and Transactional Data and Territory Management to accomplish the desired Sales, Service or Marketing processes. 3. Knowledge of integration touch points with one or more SAP modules such as SAP SD/SAP HR to quickly identify and address problem areas in case of issues and to help plan for future expansions and modifications without disrupting existing workflows. 4. Experience with business process design experience using SAP and how to design integrated solutions across Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modules. 5. Experience in integration projects with non-SAP applications to streamline customer processes, improve data duplication and consistency and enhance the overall efficiency of business operations. 6. Experience with designing and deploying SAP Fiori solutions with SAP CRM or ECC as the backend systems which provides a modern, intuitive, consistent UI interface when building CRM applications. 7. Knowledge and specialization in SAP CRM implementations, with a strong focus on CX and C4 HANA capabilities which is cloud/subscription based new version of CRM product from SAP.

      The base compensation range for this role is $151694 - $160000 /year for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
