Role Description

The Corporate Bank Technology team have an established Digital Service Manager programme (DSM) to implement a new transformational platform which will provide digital customer service experience where customers can interact with ease and simplicity. Delivery of DSM functionality will transform customer experience by providing omni-channel capability, quality of information, real-time interactions with the bank, self-servicing, deliver optimised business processes, API’s linking to back-end systems, robotics, and machine learning to facilitate improvements in processes. The programme will transform the way clients and internal users interact with each other by delivering automation, reducing client onboarding and service turnaround times, all with the aim of protecting and growing the business.

The DSM programme team are looking to hire Business Functional Analysts to join the Pune development team. The Business Functional Analyst will be responsible for business solution design as a whole in complex project environments and translating requirements into specific functional specifications for solution development and implementation. The lead manages delivery of other members of the team and assigns their work where applicable.

Your key responsibilities

• As a Lead Business Functional Analyst, you will be responsible to lead the end-to-end communication for design and implementation of ongoing deliveries and critical future enhancements related to Client facing case management / payment search application, ISO KD, Cash Inquiry Edit flows, SWIFT Integration, SRO React re-platforming, MIS report development, integration projects and new enhancements, as defined by use cases defined by both internal and external stakeholders.
• You will closely work with Domain Architect, Solution Architect, Product Owners & Development Team to understand their needs from a technical perspective.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to convert high-level requirements to user stories having well defined acceptance criteria.
• Provide capable end to end solutions by taking complete ownership.
• Participate in the end-to-end product life cycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, and testing.
• Supports in designing solution architectures for a business domain / area or project which align with the overall bank-wide data architecture.
• Ensures that design of solutions conform to the defined principles, blueprints, standards, patterns, etc.
• Undertaking peer reviews of, and creating solution architectures and designs, taking into consideration specific business and technical constraints, requirements, and dependencies.
• Mentoring colleagues on adapting technologies, supporting in tricky situations, and encouraging to learn.
• Be a mentor and role-model for other members in the team and be proactive in providing performance feedback to your team members.

Your skills and experience

• Must be an expert analyst with a passion for good architecture and design.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively with concise written artefacts.
• Teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• Passion for quality and continuous improvement of processes and software.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and create a positive working atmosphere.
• Passion for sharing knowledge and best practices, and promote collaboration, in virtual/ matrix teams.
• Must have experience driving a team towards end-to-end solution.
• Candidates with experience of working with payment domain will be preferred.
