      About this role:

      Wells Fargo's Strategic Execution and Operations (SEO) group is seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Consultant to join the Action Plan Implementation Platform (APIP) Enablement Team creating and supporting business intelligence dashboards and reports used in regulatory program management execution and governance activities. Join a team with unyielding curiosity in understanding user problems and behaviors creating solutions that delight, are feasible to build and sustain as well as deliver measurable business value.

      The experienced BI Consultant professional will be responsible for creating and supporting BI dashboards and reporting using the Microsoft Power Platform. This individual will be working with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs and translate those into useful insights. This BI Consultant will determine how to gain a comprehensive understanding of the APIP tool suite, existing dashboards and reports. They are expected to bring strong analytics, data, business intelligence and problem-solving skills along with partnering and a team orientation. This role will have a significant impact on the business value and effectiveness delivered by the APIP Enablement Team and SEO Teams along with supporting the company’s risk management objectives.

      A successful BI Consultant will be responsible for the following representative tasks:

      • Partnering with the BI Lead to plan and develop business intelligence deliverables that enable clear, consistent and useful delivery of insights in a sustainable manner
      • Collaborating and consulting with peers, colleagues and Product Owner to achieve goals related to assessing business needs and producing actionable insights and trends leveraging data visualization and business intelligence
      • Translating user stories into well-designed dashboards or reports leveraging an iterative approach for refining user needs and delivering innovative solutions in Power BI
      • Developing and executing reporting, visualization and analytics routines (weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc) to support APIP user and stakeholder needs
      • Driving best practices and innovating data reporting techniques, routines and projects
      • Employing an agile mindset, participating in scrum ceremonies, keeping Jira tickets updated with progress
      • Making decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional areas, governance standards, and business tool suite
      • Resolving issues and seeking alternative solutions while delivering expected results
      • Executing controls as required to mitigate risk
      • Reviewing and analyzing moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of data interpretation and visualization methods to create diagnostic analytics and dashboards

      Daily you will be demonstrating:

      • Knowledge and understanding of Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform environment
      • Business intelligence reporting and dashboards, visualizations and analytics capabilities
      • Problem-solving, execution orientation and analytical thinking skills
      • Experience building partnership and consulting effectively, while maintaining effective working relationships with all levels of the organization
      • Ability to communicate confidentially with strong attention to detail and writing/speaking in facts at varying levels within Wells Fargo
      • Ability to take initiative, work independently, prioritize and deliver under tight timelines in a structured environment with minimal supervision.


      Required Qualifications:

      • 4+ years of business intelligence and data visualization experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

      Desired Qualifications:

      • 1-2 years hands-on experience creating dashboards and reporting leveraging Microsoft Power BI
      • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Power Platform including Dataverse
      • Ability to communicate insights and findings effectively, both in writing and verbally, to technical and non-technical audiences
      • Proficiency of analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret data and handle complex scenarios
      • Dashboard and Reporting Creation: Developing and publishing interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports
      • Business Intelligence (BI): Understanding BI concepts, methodologies, and how to extract actionable insights from data
      • Data Importing and Connecting: Importing and connecting data from different sources such as Excel, SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL databases, etc.
      • Experience working with business teams to identify needs and requirements in an iterative fashion
      • Agile, Scrum and Jira experience
      • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks along with work efforts simultaneously
      • Comfortability working under pressure or strict deadlines
      • Exceptional attention to detail
      • Passion for learning and personal growth, specifically when it comes to product development
      • Self-starter with high degree of integrity and professionalism
      • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important


      Job Expectations:

      • Ability to work onsite in a hybrid, in office schedule three days a week, at one of the posted locations. Relocation assistance will not be available.
