Job Description

- Independently carry out procurement processes in your own commodities, from sourcing to PO placement
- Realizing the agreed objectives with regard to New Parts Manufacturing purchasing planning in close cooperation with the New Parts Projects team
- Identifying and maintaining the strategic stock of Capital Parts in close collaboration with New Parts Projects team
- Advising and supporting the New Parts Projects team with quotation and purchasing processes
- Monitoring and supporting project leaders related to quality, delivery time and budget of the purchased products
- Generating savings by selecting the right goods from the right suppliers and negotiating prices for PO placement
- Drafting, updating, reviewing, negotiating and concluding (framework) contracts and executing contract management
- Leading complex procurement processes and projects
- Implementing new/updates contracts within the department
- Visiting and auditing the right suppliers
- Co-drafting of the purchasing multi-year plan and the operational purchasing annual plan
- Continuous improvement of purchasing related processes
- Checking and processing invoices from suppliers
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in purchasing capital parts in a similar-/ affiliated industry
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- A Nevi 1 and 2 or CIPS 3 training is a pre
- Be fluent in English
- International travelling to suppliers is part of this role (

We are based in Lomm (close to Venlo), which is a great place to live.
