- Analyse processes within Buying Operations and determine ways to improve
- Provide expert knowledge to help develop future business strategy of the department by presenting data and giving recommendations to Buying Ops Leadership Team
- Design, develop and implement innovative reporting tools such as Power Platforms to provide business insight to drive profitable sales, defining business requirements and communicating them to relevant stakeholders
- Key stakeholder for driving operational projects within Buying Operations such as EAN
- Business partner, build and develop relationships with Buying Ops, Buying, Merchandising, Logistics and Finance
- Accountable for identifying trends and opportunities in historic reporting as well as the wider market to forecast and analyse future trends
- Onboard and coach new analysts within the team providing guidance and day to day training and partner with Product Owner within the team
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings with stakeholders of various levels
- Be active and curious in industry wide initiatives
- Lead change management for implementation of new processes within Buying Operations for all Global Buying Offices
- SME: Support, drive and deliver Buying Operations RPA strategy
- Accountable for providing RPA training and upskilling sessions to all Global Buying Offices
- Be accountable and reactive to all on-going projects and changes within the Business needs; attention to detail and using your own initiative to drive results.
- Partner with Supervisors to provide update on progress and drive initiatives, including upskilling
- Manage the delivery of the teams weekly reporting and ensuring high quality and provides value to the business
- Responsible for managing the day to day of project plans ensuring requirements and deadlines are met and adhered to, escalating to Product Manager
- Accountable for providing regular and ad-hoc reporting to the Buying team and the wider by working collaboratively with the Buying Operations Product Manager and other functions (i.e. logistics, merchandising, finance etc.)
- Develop, deliver and analyse reports in collaboration with the Buying Operations team, the wider Buying Community and cross functional Business Partners
- Communicate, update and support teams across Global Buying Offices
- Build presentations, updates and meeting support material for the Buying Operations team
- Strong analytical mind with advanced Excel & Access skills
- Knowledge on the SharePoint site
- Ability to interpret data and present as relevant information, tailored to the specific audience
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Understanding of Buying, PC’s and Store processes (top line)

Job Summary
Working within the Buying Operations Department, the Senior Buying Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for providing analytical and statistical reporting for the wider Buying community. The individual must be highly motivated, be able to use their initiative to decipher complex information, produce ad hoc reports/ information as well as delivering trend analysis and data that inform and support business decision making and strategy.
