      Job summary

      This candidate will be at the forefront of ECG analysis services, ensuring comprehensive cardiac investigations, data analysis, and report generation in line with quality procedures and Good Clinical Practice (GCP). This non-patient facing role involves collaborating with two other Senior Cardiac Data Analysts, training staff, conducting quality control checks, and providing technical assistance to clients. Key responsibilities include accurate ECG data analysis, supporting junior analysts, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

      Candidates should have an SCST Diploma in Electrocardiogram, at least 2 years of experience as an analyst/cardiac physiologist, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent communication skills, high standards of literacy and numeracy, and a commitment to discretion and accuracy are essential. The role reports to the Remote ECG Services Manager and ultimately to the Senior Leadership Team

      Main duties of the job

      To act as section leader for the provision of the company's ECG analysis services and to provide comprehensive cardiac investigations, data analysis and report generation to company clients and patients in line with the company's quality procedures and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

      Train staff in preparation for their SCST exams as well as training staff in the use of new analysis platforms.

      Undertake quality controls checks of analysis team, highlighting training needs where necessary and establishing a training action plan where necessary.

      Ongoing support to all analysis staff within RECG.

      Competency testing for analysis team.

      JOB DUTIES:

      1. To provide accurate investigation, analysis, interpretation and measurement of ECG data.

      2. To provide administrative support as necessary

      3. Ensure that all data is processed in accordance with individual study requirements, turnaround times are met.

      4. To support the manager with training and mentoring of Cardiac Data Analyst Assistants and Trainees.

      5. Monitoring of industry requirements and implementation of CPD

      10. Providing technical support.

      11. Ensuring compliance to QC Procedures and GCP.

      12. Preparing business requirements for processes or systems.

      COMPENTENT IN:

      1. Analysis of ECGs (including: Holter and 12 lead)

      2. Measurement of ECGs, both digital and paper.

      3. Ambulatory ECG Analysis.

      4. ECG Morphology.
