Together we are transforming our world. We are passionate about what we do and the culture we have developed. The more diverse we are, the better our ideas, strategies and client solutions will be and the more we will better represent our world. We know that we are stronger when people from different backgrounds and perspectives work together. We are committed to growing an environment where our people have equal opportunity to build a career that reflects their ability & passions and believe in their potential, feel they belong and can be their best selves.

It underpins our positive, purpose-driven, and growth-oriented culture; it sets us apart in our markets and gives meaning to our social contract. We are accountable, we have each other's backs, we don’t let each other down, and we strive for excellence in everything we do.

We recognise that one of the challenges people can face in building their careers is managing work and home life. We will encourage you to find an arrangement that works for you, whether that involves part-time, working from home or flexible working arrangements. We are open to discussing how this could work for you for roles across our Transport & Infrastructure team.

      The opportunity

We plan, design and manage projects to transform our communities across Aotearoa, Australia, the Pacific and South-East Asia. Our work impacts the everyday lives of almost everyone, every day. Our airport's team specialises in the design and maintenance of heavy-duty pavements, airfield drainage and services, earthworks, airfield geometric design, general civil engineering for airfield infrastructure and airfield planning and operational staging. We have developed a reputation in the industry for our commitment to excellence, successful project completion and sustained business growth.

We are looking to grow our airport team based in Auckland. We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our diverse team who prides themself on high levels of performance for a varied client base. This is an opportunity to take leadership for the delivery of projects, and development of client relationships through client service excellence and drive good practice. We will give you the tools, support and most importantly, the right level of challenge to enable you to excel.

As our work takes us to the far-flung corners of New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific there will likely be opportunities to travel, so if you are looking for some adventure in your work, this opportunity is for you.

      About you

You love to learn and share knowledge and are someone who can bring a fresh perspective. You are a Civil Engineer with a passion for airports and aviation. Ideally, you will have experience in heavy-duty pavement design and a broad understanding of the aviation infrastructure. Knowledge or skills in design software including APSDS, FAARFIELD and AutoCAD is preferred. As part of our team, you will gain experience in writing proposals, designing airfield facilities, producing design documentation such as feasibility studies, design basis reports, design layouts, specifications and detailed construction drawings, undertaking maintenance inspections and pavement inspection reporting and on-site monitoring of construction work.
