      What You’ll Be Doing:

      • Lead and manage the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, including site development, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design
      • Prepare and review detailed engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports
      • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and public agencies to ensure successful project outcomes
      • Serve as a technical expert and quality control reviewer on complex design challenges
      • Oversee permitting processes and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
      • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers
      • Participate in proposal development, project scoping, and fee estimation
      • Support business development by nurturing client relationships and identifying new opportunities

      What You Bring to the Team:

      • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
      • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
      • 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, preferably in consulting or private-sector infrastructure projects
      • Proficiency in civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD)
      • Strong understanding of civil site design, grading, stormwater management, and utility coordination
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Demonstrated leadership and project management experience

        Essential Physical Functions :

        • Sit/stand at a desk or computer
        • Walk, stoop, stand and move around job sites
        • Travel and occasional site visits requiring stooping, standing, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
        • Frequent communication via phone, video, or in-person meetings
        • Ability to focus on digital and paper-based information for extended periods
        • Some project-based travel may be required
