      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Handle California jurisdiction medical only Workers Compensation claims with a focus on timely processing and superior customer service
      - Verify coverage and compensability issues, and conduct limited investigations
      - Maintain accurate documentation of claims activities and ensure compliance with company policies
      - Communicate effectively with agents, insureds, state agencies, and other stakeholders to address questions and concerns
      - Process bills and benefit payments in a timely manner

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - College degree is required but may be waived based on prior claims or business experience
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      - General knowledge of insurance and/or claims is a plus
      - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and aptitude for learning new programs
      - Ability to obtain non-resident adjuster licenses for mandatory states

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Prior experience in claims handling or a related field
      - Familiarity with Workers Compensation claims processes
      - Continuing education courses related to insurance or claims management
