What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead planning, review, and oversight of systems development projects, including administration and reporting
- Innovate and develop solutions for clinical operational needs using IT options
- Serve as a liaison between clinical departments and Information Services Department
- Identify and implement system improvements to enhance workflow and processes
- Provide continued customer support and facilitate interactive education for system comprehension
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a healthcare environment, with a preference for clinical experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience with clinical information systems, including 4 years of Cerner Millennium experience
- Strong knowledge of clinical workflows and patient-care processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional IT or Clinical certifications in computer science or Clinical/Nursing Informatics
- Project Management Certification and/or experience
- Experience analyzing clinical systems for continuous improvement opportunities
- Strong statistical skills and interpretive abilities
- Ability to provide clinical reviews for projects to enhance system usability
