What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide managerial, logistical, and administrative direction for clinical research studies
- Coordinate and manage IRB and regulatory approvals for research projects
- Develop and monitor study budgets, and manage invoicing for clinical research studies
- Recruit and enroll participants, ensuring adherence to study protocols
- Prepare study progress reports and assist in manuscript preparation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of clinical research experience interacting with patients and the medical system
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
- Experience with IRB administration and data management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with human subjects research and IRB requirements
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance including HIPAA and JCAHO
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reference management software
- Ability to conduct training sessions for research staff
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
