Participates in discussions about cloud architecture, resiliency, and technical choices that contribute to well architected and successful designs.
Help migrate existing workflows from on-prem to cloud by building appropriate solutions.
Provide expert level guidance on key Cloud design decisions, cost optimization, and multi-functional operational practices.
Ensure the highest level of up-time and Quality of Service (QoS) to internal customers through operational excellence.
Proactively identify areas of improvement in cloud infrastructure and influence various teams to work together.
8+ years of experience driving cloud strategy, design and migration of applications at scale.
Ability to design and build scalable services on at least one major CSP - AWS, GCP, Azure.
Proficient in Identity, Security Architecture, Config management, Security and Network Security.
Strong coding skills in a high level programming language - Python, Ruby, Perl, Groovy etc.
Collaborative team spirit and experience mentoring junior engineers.
BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud architect certifications.
Prior experience working in a HPC environment.

We are looking for a hardworking cloud architect to join our Data and Application Services team. This team designs and operates a collection of application services based on cloud services for our hardware engineering teams. The services handled by our team require high uptimes, and we achieve this with a combination of tooling and automation built by our engineers. As part of this team, this individual will be working on the cutting edge of our cloud computing initiatives, container orchestration and automation. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter hands-on person with strong technical and interpersonal skills.
