Work solo or collectively with peer Cloud and DevOps engineering teams to design and implement AWS solutions and infrastructure for deployment, monitoring, alerting, data storage, security,, collaborating cross-functionally and sharing knowledge.
Working with development team to expand/improve our CI/CD processes and environments
Automation, deployment, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based systems.
Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.
Establish, manage the creation, release, logging, monitoring, metrics, and configuration of production systems.
Help optimize our backend, mobile and web release cycle building continuous deployment and continuous integration pipelines
Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation and technical diagramming of interconnected systems and networks.
Handle incidents, troubleshooting systems, performing root cause analysis of outages, and resolve problems across various application domains and platforms.
Define, automate, adhere and validate disaster recovery, data manipulation, compliance, security controls, risk treatment and change management policies.
AWS specific tasks (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, AutoScaling, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, ECS/EKS, cost management, etc.)
Management of backup and disaster recovery system (Cloud Protection Manager, EC2 Lifecycle Manager, S3 Lifecycle policies)
Management of Atlassian stack (Jira, Bamboo, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.
Extensive experience in DevOps engineering, team management, and collaboration.
Expert AWS administration skills, deployment/release using automated processes and tools (5+ years of experience)
Experience deploying and managing multi-cloud infrastructures (Azure and AWS cloud).
3-5 years of experience with managing large Linux and VMWare environments with an ability to automate ongoing management activities.
Experience managing PostgreSQL
Experience with Bash and Python scripting
Great knowledge of defining and building CI/CD processes and working with common tools (such as Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline).
Experience with containers and container orchestration
Experience with Java technology stack.
Deep and extensive knowledge of building and maintaining AWS infrastructure; strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements.
Automation experience using orchestration tools (such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Pulumi, AWS CDK) and configuration management tools (such as Ansible, AWS OpsWorks, Chef, Puppet).
Experience with GIT version control, containerized environments (such as Docker, AWS Fargate, ECS, EKS) and serverless (AWS Lambda).
Solid foundation of networking, security, scripting and Linux administration.
Good self-management skills, ability to track and prioritize competing tasks.
Apply critical and strategic thinking to resolve complex issues, making sound and logical judgments
Provide excellent service to internal and external clients by discovering and meeting their needs and building, and maintaining positive and effective working relationships.
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including facilitation skills for eliciting business requirements from stakeholders

Reporting to the Manager Cloud Engineering & Operations , the Senior AWS Cloud Engineer will support all software applications throughout the development lifecycle and to work closely with the development team to streamline our development and release pipeline. The team is responsible monitor, manage, improve, scale OH’s AWS environment for code deployments, application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, production support and projects and programs.
