      Position: QA/CX Commissioning Engineer
      Reports to: QA/CX Commissioning Manager
      Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
      Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000

      We take into consideration a number of factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.

      The Superior Group is looking for a QA/CX Commissioning Engineer to join our Engineering team. They will be responsible for producing all aspects of engineering commissioning and quality assurance deliverables. The position will be based on a jobsite in Fort Wayne, IN.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Creates energization and electrical performance methods and procedures
      • Professional support for energization
      • Professional support for quality assurance and commissioning efforts at project sites
      • Walk the jobsite and provide observations to the Field Operations teams where there are deviations from the project drawings
      • Collaborate with product manufacturers, distributors, repair, and testing companies
      • Interface with owners and construction managers to cover technical questions and remediate issues
      • Identify and produce business case design enhancement studies

      Your Expertise

      • You have earned your Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or have a minimum of 10 years of professional services experience working in electrical engineering
      • Required: You have experience in the design, construction, and installation of building electrical systems
      • Required: You have experience in quality control, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
      • Required: You have experience with NFPA, NEC, NFPA 70E and other applicable codes and standards
      • Bonus points if you have project experience in the healthcare, industrial, or commercial sector
      • Bonus points if you have experience in commissioning management software, such as BIM360, CxAlloy, Latista, or Procore
