Salary Level HEW 7 + 17% Superannuation
Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working
Ideally between three to five years’ experience
Experience in business partnering, managing stakeholders and priorities, with the ability to deliver impactful communications in a timely and responsive way
A passion for internal communications and experience in a corporate/internal communications role
A good knowledge of industry-leading communications best practice as a communications generalist
The ability to effectively select the most beneficial channel mix depending on audience and desired outcomes
The ability to collect, analyse, and interpret data and information to understand stakeholder motivations and preferences and develop solutions to meet those needs

About the role
You will be responsible for providing communications advice and execution to support the staff and student experience and protect and enhance the reputation of the University.
You will take responsibility for select stakeholders and projects, and be a trusted team member partnering with others on strategic and tactical work as well as driving engagement and communications efforts. In addition to your own stakeholders, this role provides critical support to the Operations Communications team’s Associate Director and Communications Business Partners, working together to execute on internal and external communication campaigns.
At RMIT, the Senior Communications Advisor position is a mid-level role ideal for someone with solid communications experience and stakeholder management skills looking to further develop their communications career.
