What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Execute consumer outreach, preorder campaigns, influencer marketing, and overall creative strategy for Inklore titles
- Manage multiple title marketing and publicity projects while building relationships with stakeholders
- Serve as the primary publicity contact for the Inklore imprint, pitching media for feature and review coverage
- Oversee and grow Inklore's social media channels by creating engaging content and securing partnerships
- Manage the Inklore marketing and publicity budget, ensuring effective allocation for title promotions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in comics, manga, or graphic novel marketing and/or publicity
- Highly organized with effective communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience presenting in front of large groups at meetings
- Proficiency in using social media platforms as marketing tools, particularly Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Existing relationships with national and regional media contacts in the comics, graphic novel, and manga spaces
- Proven track record of creating marketing campaigns that engage diverse audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with design skills in Adobe or Canva
- Proficiency in Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin languages
