Provide strategic counsel and communications support for the team
Plan, write, edit, and coordinate publication of internal communications and readiness materials for customer service employees related to Consumer Lending product initiatives; materials may leverage multiple channels including email and internal websites
Consult and collaborate with leadership, product managers and other internal business partners to identify communication objectives, plans, and designs to ensure successful execution of assigned deliverables
Transform complex information and details into simplified and easy-to-understand product content
Offer insights and influence decision-making based on risk or reputational matters
Partner closely with other communicators to identify connection points and leverage best practices, including coordinating LOB communications for dual-report/dotted-line communications where applicable
Provide technical writing support for internal communications as needed.
4+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of financial services experience
Experience applying Wells Fargo Style Guide and brand standards
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of communications development in financial services industry
Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
Solid creative and strategic thinking skills
Ability to analyze complex issues and solve problems
Experience with change management
Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Results-oriented focus – a resourceful and industrious self-starter
Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
Experience developing compelling content and leveraging multiple channels for creative storytelling
