What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and administer compensation programs for both union and non-union employees
- Provide expert consultation to HR and management on complex compensation matters
- Conduct research and analysis of market survey data to ensure competitive compensation
- Evaluate job roles to determine appropriate pay levels and incentive eligibility
- Collaborate with compensation teams and HR on major initiatives and projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation, including data collection and analysis
- In-depth understanding of HR practices and regulations governing compensation
- Strong analytical skills to create actionable insights regarding compensation trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex information
- Strong attention to detail in managing data and ensuring compliance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Science, or related field
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation
- Compensation experience at a healthcare employer
- Experience supporting union bargaining, including costing and modeling
- Project management experience
