What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence reviews of high-risk clients, including composing comprehensive written narratives
- Identify and escalate unusual activity or flagged documentation and transactions
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Source, validate, and interpret data for discrepancies and risks
- Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, procedures, and policies that affect the assigned business area
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Financial Compliance/Regulatory Environment, Legal, Audit, Banking, or other related experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Financial Compliance/Regulatory Environment, Legal, Audit, Banking, or other related experience
- Knowledge of money laundering laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA Patriot Act, U.S. Treasury AML guidelines, OFAC requirements, and Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and complete projects on time
- Strong research skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and online research systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CAMS or similar certification
- Experience with banking and compliance requirements
