As the Senior Compliance Analyst you will perform day-to-day compliance program activities. Secondary responsibilities include supporting The Credit Union's Compliance Program. Compliance entails regulatory changes, research, compliance assessments, assisting L & D with training pertaining to regulation requirements, answering questions, complaint management, updating policy / procedure, etc.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Assist with the development and maintenance of policies and procedures to ensure Credit Union is in compliance with all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Research new policies to be implemented as needed. Perform day to day compliance related tasks in accordance with the compliance management system. Monitor all regulatory changes and amendments, trends and best practices in order to assess the impact on the organization. Work with Compliance Officer to develop compliance training for all levels of staff within the Credit Union. Assist with the review and maintenance of Credit Union disclosures, forms for compliance with appropriate regulations. Researches and answers compliance-related questions.
Maintain documentation of Compliance Assessments to support Compliance Management Program. Coordinate administration of the Compliance program. Provide recommendations on improvements to Compliance at the Credit Union.
Support Compliance Officer as the backup and support other disciplines within the risk management department as needed. Assist with Compliance Committee needs for the Credit Union.
Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum of five years of financial institution or similar or related experience; strong compliance background preferred.
A two-year college degree in Business or related field, or the equivalent work experience. Bachelor's degree, certification preferred.
