What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Adapt innovative solutions to the construction industry to minimize customer losses and improve sustainability
- Conduct remote and onsite risk assessments of construction company operations and projects
- Produce technical reports analyzing project and operational risk for underwriting and claims decisions
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with business partners, brokers, and customers
- Deliver advanced presentations and risk management training to clients and internal teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area, or
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area, or
- Zurich Certified Apprentice with an Associate’s degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area
- Experience working in a team environment
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle record background check due to company car usage
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or equivalent
- Advanced experience in managing complex construction projects and industry trends
- Knowledge of Construction Specialty insurance products, including Builders Risk and Construction Property
- Professional certifications such as CCM, P.E., PMP, AIA, LEED AP, etc.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
