  The Opportunity

  As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with Customers on large-scale scale datacentre modernisation, automation or multi-cloud projects. You will produce the best of breed technical designs incorporating Nutanix and related products. You will take technical leadership in the design and build of Nutanix and other virtualization products with a key focus on integrating the IT landscape for the EUC use case. You are an advanced-level virtualization technology specialist. You have advanced competencies in infrastructure or network virtualization, business-critical and cloud-native applications, data center operations, end-user computing, and/or public cloud.

  About the Team

  The Nutanix Professional Services team delivers a strong influence on the success of each Nutanix implementation by its customers. The Services function ensures success by engaging with customers in the pre-sales and post-sales stages by assisting in their software-defined data center (SDDC) strategy and architecture. Besides helping customers implement Nutanix products successfully, the Professional Services team, working with our partners, ensures customer success in fully implementing their virtualized and software-defined data centers. The Nutanix Professional Services Consulting function includes assessment, design, implementation, integration, and automation services as well as project management.

  Your Role

  • You will be responsible for leading workshops and consulting engagements with customers.
  • You will conduct pre-packaged Nutanix consulting solutions in a timely and effective manner.
  • You will take ownership of the business outcomes of virtualization & EUC projects through requirements capture and technical governance.
  • You will craft detailed design documents and perform hands-on implementation work.
  • You will work with our project managers on project budget and all aspects of efficient delivery.
  • You will provide technical input and review projects in the pre-sales stage.
  • You will advise and consult internal groups by providing accurate effort estimations.
  • You can display commercial awareness by identifying future services opportunity within a project or customer.
  • You actively drive practice activities such as the development of standard methodologies, intellectual property capture and creation, quality assurance, and peer reviews.
  • You maintain current knowledge of the entire Nutanix product stack.

  What You Will Bring

  • Strong technical architecture background surrounding Citrix technologies, including Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix DaaS and Citrix ADC on multiple hypervisors.
  • Desirable skills include technical architecture background surrounding Omnissa technologies, including Omnissa Horizon.
  • Proven experience in reviewing and creating design documents as a subject matter expert for infrastructure solutions.
  • Technical design, configuration, and implementation expertise within large-scale EUC Transformations and Migrations.
  • Define anticipated user types and roles and maintain user access. Determine data storage policies/capabilities and impacts on VDI architecture and provide supporting documentation.

  Must be familiar and able to use:

  • Citrix CCP-V and CCP-N or higher certified
  • Expert understanding of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops/DaaS
  • Expert understanding of Omnissa Horizon will be an advantage
  • Expert knowledge in High Availability and Disaster Recovery for End User Computing
  • Microsoft Certified Administrator/Architect Expert
  • Application Integration on a multi-user platform (Citrix required, Omnissa Horizon desirable)
  • Microsoft group policy
  • Citrix NetScaler for EUC use cases
  • Microsoft PowerShell scripting will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of alternative EUC solutions will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of using industry-standard EUC monitoring tools will be an advantage

  Work Arrangement
  

  Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
