  Sr Consultant, Product Management

  To drive innovation in Data Science AI/ML platform product development at Dell Technologies, we need forward-thinking professionals on our IT Product Management team. As part of this team, we devise product and solution strategies and product roadmaps, and works closely with our internal business partners, other technical support groups in cross-functional teams. Together, we manage the lifecycle of highly complex projects - from design to delivery.

  What you’ll achieve

  As a Sr Consultant, Product Management, you will be part of our Data Science / AI-ML / Gen AI Platform engineering team that is spearheading Dell’s Digital Transformation by driving innovation in the way we deliver advanced AI and ML technologies that can help our business units deliver improvements across our entire customer experience and optimize our business outcomes. We design and develop software with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners. This position will merge software engineering, modern dev ops, data engineering and deployment at scale to help teams deploy algorithmic models that can optimize business and customer experiences at scale. The candidate will use technical knowledge and software development to build technology centric solutions that accelerate the development of AI and ML capabilities across the company.

  
  You will:

  • Prepare detailed project plans, reviewing and validating each sprints goals & ensuring the delivery by our engineering team members
  • Provide direction to the team during the sprint or project for both overall delivery and daily management of activities
  • Take ownership of quality assurance, ensuring the project is delivered to scope

  • Build strong, dynamic relationships through communications with our business partners, management, internal support groups in cross-functional teams

  • Participate in Software product development life cycle in all stages from planning and design to development, testing, deployment and documentation

  Essential Requirements

  • 12-15 years of experience in SW Product / project / program management
  • Experience with Scrum At Scale (Scrum@Scale); Familiarity with Data Science AI/ML tools sets, cloud-native computing, cloud platforms, microservices architecture, modern DevOps, Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment and/ data management technologies highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of iterative development processes, including quality and testing best practices; Possess a high degree of technical savvy, with a keen ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and develop partnerships outside of the organization; identify improvements to existing workflows and results
  • Creates, implements and monitors plans for testing products/ solutions through beta releases or pilot programs.

  
  Desirable Requirements

  • One or more agile certifications (e.g., CSM, CSP, CSC, Scrum.org, ICAgile, PMI-ACP)
  • Bachelors or master’s degree in computers science / Engineering Degree or equivalent professional experience
