Our Auburn, Maine site is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineers to join the team to support project needs across multiple operating departments. These resources will contribute to the overall expansion, maintenance, and step change manufacturing capability of the site. Successful candidates will break down technical barriers to success, guide project teams through innovation projects, and / bring new capacity to our site. The ideal candidate is someone who is curious, not afraid to challenge the status quo, and ultimately a team player.

      An Electrical Project Engineer you will:

      We believe the following skills will help you be successful:

      · Process and/or Machine Control experience

      · Proven expertise with sensors, motors, PLC’s, and industrial automation

      · Robotics, Machine Vision, and/or Networking skills are a plus

      · Programming knowledge and experience is a plus, i.e., Python, Labview, Java, C#, etc.

      Technical Mastery: You should have a strong technical background and/or curiosity to troubleshoot hard problems and develop new solutions. Have real passion for integrating technologies to enable the future of Digital Manufacturing via Industry 4.0 technologies, Data, and Analytics.

      Agility: Ability to quickly embrace and adapt to changes in project scope, schedule, and cost.

      Builds Diverse and Collaborative Relationships: Development of relationships will be critical to your success in supporting the business. You will work seamlessly across global engineering organizations and production sites.

      Auburn is located about 40 minutes from Portland - Maine's largest city - and is an integral production node within our Feminine Care business unit. Here we manufacture the majority of P&G's tampon products for worldwide distribution. The Auburn plant was founded in 1968 as part of Tambrands, Inc. before the company was acquired by P&G in 1997. Our site has over 500 full time employees split between technicians, engineers, and support personnel working in a variety of operating departments. We're currently in a state of expansion through adding several new production lines set for launch between summer of 2023, continuing into spring of 2024.

      If located 50 or more miles from the site, we offer a paid relocation package.

      This role is onsite Monday through Friday with typical days starting between 7-8 am.

      Job Qualifications

      REQUIRED:

      · 2-5+ years of relevant work experience

      · Capability building: Lead technician training deliverables.

      · Strong leadership, project management. Leading teams to build the organization.

      · Strong leadership, business problem definition, and priority setting skills

      · An aptitude for communicating insights and collaborating across teams/organizations

      PREFERRED:

      · BS/MS Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Systems, Electrical degrees are preferred

      · Experience with industrial PLC, especially with Rockwell Control Logix platforms

      · Experience with computer and industrial networks.

      What will you do?

      Where you work depends on a number of things. Manufacturing Engineers lead our efforts to identify and drive out losses through standards and system development. They support the daily activities of the production line and/or processing areas, and build long term capability into their area, systems, and technicians. Daily work could encompass any of the following:

      • Identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and eliminating losses and inefficiencies
      • Delivery and start-up of new equipment, initiatives, and projects
      • Collaborating with technical experts, other functions, and other manufacturing sites to create the best solutions
      • Creating learning programs and coaching and training technicians
      • Creating and improving standards to enable us to achieve the performance targets for the production line
      • Understanding and working with state-of-the-art robotics and automated equipment

      JUST SO YOU KNOW:

      Starting Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000 annually.

      Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
