      Summary

      The Department of Surgery is seeking a qualified and motivated Clinical Operations Senior Coordinator to support all clinical operations within the department of surgery. This position will play a critical role in the day to day operations of the clinic including planning, implementing, and managing projects, initiatives, and onboarding. In addition, this position will work with the other clinical ops team members in clinic management to include recruitment and staff management. This position supports all of the Department of Surgery so any new projects or focuses, this position will help support.

      Job Duties

      • Operates as project manager for clinical operations to include project plan development and implementation. (Example projects are In House Coder, research move, fistulagram program implementation, revenue cycle improvement).
      • Operates as clinical process improvement officer for initiatives that space across all divisions of the department of surgery.
      • Assists overseeing day to day operations for Department of Surgery Clinical Operations.
      • Manages Clinical Operations meetings including all faculty meeting and all staff meeting to include PowerPoint slide creation, minutes, and scheduling.
      • Assesses revenue cycle data and works with division administrators to set process and plans for permanent improvement.
      • Assists in recruitment process and onboarding for new faculty to ensure all outstanding items are addressed and taken care of in a timely manner.
      • Assists in recruitment of new staff by initiating recruitment and screens all potential new clinical candidates.
      • Functions as a resource for clinical staff by assisting with patient complaint and clinical operations/process improvement issues.
      • Evaluates and measures outcomes such as quality and patient experience metrics to continuously improve and enhance outcomes.
      • Assists with Qgenda, decision tree management, Replicon, and other clinical operations.
      • Creates and runs financial, clinical, and administrative reports to monitor clinic efficiency as needed.

      Minimum Qualifications

      • High School diploma or GED.
      • Four years of relevant experience.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
      • Two years of relevant experience.
