      Role and Scope of Position:
      Under minimal supervision, assist the facility management team in ensuring that client facility needs and mailroom operations are successfully met

      Essential Functions:

      Mailroom:

      • Plans, supervises and schedules daily activities of mailroom personnel
      • Prepares and maintains delivery schedule for all couriers and mail clerks
      • Ensures pick-up and delivery of inter-company mail to various PSNH locations in accordance with pre-determined schedule
      • Supervises the sorting and preparation of mail between scheduled deliveries
      • Coordinates special requests for pick-ups and deliveries other than those regularly scheduled
      • Coordinates Iron Mountain submittals and retrievals
      • Schedules regular maintenance on vehicles used by couriers, making necessary arrangements for substitute vehicles when needed
      • Ensures that all work and activities comply with Company policies and practices and are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
      • Provides training to and instructs others within the department; Plans, schedules and reviews work performed and evaluates subordinates
      • Identifies appropriate procedural methods; and make decisions based on analysis of information
      • Works effectively with subordinates; superiors, interfacing departments and vendors
      • Analyzes operational methods and develops improved procedures as needed
      • Interprets Company policies, procedures and practices
      • May perform any or all tasks required to complete mailroom duties

      Building Services:

      • Assist with day-to-day management of multiple building service vendors
      • Respond to client inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely and quality service delivery to clients; follows up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
      • Work order management; report on open and closed work orders and check status with the appropriate technician or vendor
      • Create and assign work orders to technicians, subcontractors and vendors; assist management in resolving problems

      Financial/Administrative:

      • Maintain all department files on work orders, proposals, etc.

      Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

      Technical Knowledge/Skill:

      • Demonstrated ability to schedule and review work of employees.
      • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with subordinates and interfacing departments.
      • Ability to interpret Company policies, procedures and practices

      Education:

      • High school diploma or GED. Degree in facilities management, building, business or relevant field a plus.

      Experience:

      • A minimum of four (4) years of related experience in mailroom/courier, tenant services, facilities management or related field. Previous supervisory experience is helpful.

      Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $61,940.00 to $68,820.00, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of our benefits.

      Licenses & Certifications:

      • Valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s License

      Working Conditions:

      • Work is performed in a combined office, warehouse and outdoor environment which may have periodic high levels of noise, inconsistent temperatures, and adverse weather conditions.
      • Travel to facilities throughout the state and occasionally to facilities in other states is required.
      • Role may require occasional on-call or after-hours to resolve critical facilities issues
      • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
      • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary
      • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders and ability to lift and carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
