      The Location: Taconic Biosciences is seeking a Senior Coordinator Genetic Sciences & Compliance to join our dedicated Quality team in this remote position. This position works primarily remote (90%) with ad hoc needs to visit Taconic US sites. Ideal candidates will reside within driving proximity to our Cambridge City, IN or Germantown, NY sites and be comfortable working Eastern standard hours.

      The Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors. These factors include geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions and could exceed the advertised salary range, however, please note that the upper end of the range is not guaranteed to be offered.

      The Role:
      Join a team where genetics meets uncompromising quality. As a Senior Coordinator, Genetic Sciences & Compliance, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of genotyping results, supporting regulatory excellence, and driving continuous improvement in genetic quality programs. You’ll lead investigations, collaborate across teams, and contribute to efficiency gains in testing and documentation.       Core Responsibilities:
      • Function as Lead investigator on Genotype Results Inquiries
      • Support Accession Review by independently assessing the quality of routine genotyping results and implications of anomalies, and establishing appropriate follow-up
      • Performing testing verification against approved line documentation and following up with Operations, Project Management and Quality groups as appropriate
      • Approving genotyping results to Taconic’s customer-facing web portal and reviewing resulting reports for accuracy
      • Scheduling work for self, such that quality results are approved in a timely fashion
      • Assisting with process improvement, including revisions to existing processes and adoption of new platforms/technologies
      • Assisting in other quality areas, as needed
      Education and Experience:
      • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in molecular biology, genetics, or a related life science field; advanced coursework or training in genetics strongly preferred.
      • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a molecular biology or genetics-focused environment, ideally within a laboratory quality or compliance function.
      • Experience interpreting and approving genotyping or genetic test results, with a demonstrated focus on accuracy, documentation, and follow-up, preferred.
      • Prior experience leading or participating in root cause investigations or quality reviews (e.g., GRI, CAPA, nonconformances) preferred.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document findings and communicate technical results to cross-functional teams.
      • Familiarity with regulated laboratory processes, quality systems, or compliance standards preferred.
      Travel: Occasional travel is required, generally 2-5 trips each year.
