      Position Overview

      The Senior Coordinator, Marketing combines strong organization skills and a creative mindset to support marketing efforts that raise the brand visibility of NPF and the needs of our national parks. The position will assist in the execution of a variety of activities, including digital communications, paid media campaigns, creative development, and events. The position is based in Washington, DC, and will report to the Director, Marketing. Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines are key to success in this role.

      Responsibilities and Duties:

      • Support implementation of successful marketing strategies and tactics that will elevate the visibility of NPF and its work across platforms.
      • Project manage marketing and campaign development through timeline development, creative concepting, asset development, reviews, deployment, and post-campaign reporting.
      • Work collaboratively with external and internal constituencies and partners to execute projects, deliver successful results and ensure deadlines are met.
      • Support planning for events and activations including (but not limited to) collateral creation, logistics and site details, permitting, run-of-show development, guest list management, and day-of-show support, staffing, and troubleshooting (some travel may be required).
      • Create and/or copyedit marketing materials including (but not limited to): newsletters, creative briefs, campaign summaries, toolkits, reports, and presentations.
      • Research current news, trends, and industry best practices to inform marketing and creative campaign materials.
      • Coordinate meetings with agencies and various internal and external stakeholders. Tasks may include reserving meeting space, creation of agenda, preparation of meeting materials, circulation of meeting notes, facilitation of next steps as necessary.
      • Provide administrative support to External Affairs department and Marketing team through processing of agency/contractor contracts and invoices.
      • Offer day-to-day support to the External Affairs team, as needed.

      ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

      • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred; combination of education and equivalent experience will be considered
      • Strong communications skills – verbal, written, and visual
      • Exceptional time management, organizational and multitasking skills
      • Proven ability to develop relationships and work collaboratively within a dynamic team
      • High level of attention to detail is required
      • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite

      Physical Demands:

      On average, 75% of the time working at a desk in a typical office environment walking, standing and moving about the office suite and conference rooms. Ability to lift approximately 20 lbs. May include up to 10% domestic travel.

      Location and Starting Salary:

      This position is located at NPF headquarters in Washington, DC, and eligible for a hybrid work schedule. The salary range for this position begins at $60K.
