- Minimum three (3) years prior private security and/or three years in law enforcement and/or equivalent management experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Current CPR/AED certification prefered
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must have a favorable driving history
- Company policy requires that one must be 21 years of age or older to drive a company vehicle and pass a yearly Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) review
- Must be at least 18 years of age (Georgia law requires that one must be over the age of 18 to dispense or serve alcoholic beverages)
- Proficient in Windows OS and Microsoft Office software applications such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proficient with peripherals, copier, fax, telephone and calculator
- Must have ability to courteously present information to people in one-on-one and group situations
- Must have the patience and the ability to deal with problems involving several variable in changing situations
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to automate many of the existing procedures and create new procedures that simplify tasks
- Ability to exercise good judgment, initiative, cooperation and discretion

- Answer telephone and respond to caller’s request for assistance; referring routine calls to appropriate individuals or departments as required
- Ability to communicate with other team members of the Security Department and Sea Island Leaders
- Assist with mail delivery and distribution
- Assist with payroll for all hourly team members in the Security department; which including entering training and vacation
- Assist with schedule and coordinate meetings and training courses
- Maintain and update the Security Budget and generate End of Month Reports for budget input
- Assist with the filing system for all invoices to be paid by the Security department
- Creates invoices for charges to other departments for requested Security
- Maintain all First Aid, Safety and Office supplies
- Enters parking decals in UltiPro system for all Sea Island team members
- Maintain current file system for accurate and efficient record keeping
- Process payments using MICROS system
- Balance and perform EOD reports
- Assist the Sea Island Main Gate as needed
- Learn the names and personally recognize our regular Guest and Members
- Familiarization and compliance with various company policies and procedures
- Utilize the Adaco General Purchasing as needed to oversee budget items and order supplies
- Assist any post or shift as necessary
- Maintains the highest quality of skills necessary to perform all requests by the Director of Security
- Order name badges and uniforms for team members
- Discretely maintain, utilize and dispose of documents containing information that is highly sensitive in nature
- Read, process and distribute accordingly all incoming mail, voicemail and email
- Assist in processing expense reports and code invoices for payment
- Prepare monthly summaries and related reports on major accomplishments of the department, capital program milestones, and commentary relating to financial performance of the department
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of current guest services, activities, dining options, shops, local attractions, and historical information regarding Sea Island and the surrounding area to answer any questions guests may have to the best of one’s ability
- If applicable, complete a Guest Problem Resolutions (GPR) form on any issues (solved or unsolved issues) and follow-up on issues as needed (if computer access is not available give information to admin support)
- Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work areas
- Uphold appropriate departmental standards of quality/timing
- Uphold and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures
- Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to supervisor immediately
- Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
- Willing and timely execution of other duties as delegated by leadership
- Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, stand, sit, balance, reach, bend, push, pull and walk for prolonged periods
- If applicable, must have the ability to work for extended time periods in an outdoor environment, including sun, heat, cold, wind, rain, and higher than normal noise levels
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
- Ability to lift, carry, pull, and push up to 30 lbs intermittently throughout a shift
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- May be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical and fume hazards
- Ability to maintain compliance with Sea Island’s Company Resort Professional Image Policy.
Basic Job Function :
Perform the administrative tasks that supports the Security Department’s missions of Sea Island. The assigned duties will include assisting with budget, payroll, AP/AR, scheduling and office administrative duties along with upholding and assuring compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
