Job Description

- Play a lead role in the financial statement close process by recording revenue for all DraftKings product verticals in accordance with ASC 606
- Ensure proper accounting under US GAAP, working with the FP&A team to ensure accruals agree to expected spend for the month
- Create and maintain clear documentation of control processes and procedures to support annual audits, responding to audit requests to support SOX and financial statement audits
- Complete other miscellaneous analytics and reconciliations as part of monthly responsibilities
- Review new partner agreements and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure complete and accurate reporting
- Prepare federal & state gaming taxes, as well as exception reports for departmental non-compliance, variances, and discrepancies
- Develop strong relationships with various teams within revenue operations and data engineering
- 4+ years accounting experience (public audit/public industry mix preferred)
- BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting (CPA preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines required
- Strong documentation and written communication skills specifically around SOX-404 controls and experience identifying and documenting control processes
- Advanced excel skills with the ability to manipulate data and present in a user-friendly format
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus
- Ability to obtain a gaming licensed in the states where applicable

In this role, you will support the revenue close process, manage and deliver related audit needs, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements including financial reporting and tax remittance.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $73,600.00 - $110,400.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
