What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design corporate campaign strategies supporting forest protection and the rights of forest communities
- Lead negotiations on forest-risk commodity procurement and production policies
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate actors throughout forest-risk supply chains
- Conduct policy analysis and engagement with consumer goods manufacturing companies
- Act as a public spokesperson for the employer with the media and at industry forums
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate, human rights, and/or environmental campaigning
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, adaptable for various audiences
- Deep subject knowledge in areas such as forest policies, human rights, and supply chain accountability systems
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Commitment to uphold the employer’s values and promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work culture
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with Indigenous and frontline communities in tropical forest regions, particularly Indonesia and Brazil
- Language skills relevant to regions of work, such as Indonesian, Portuguese, or Japanese
- Previous experience collaborating with cross-cultural teams across global time zones
