FANUC America Corporation provides the most complete range of industry-leading robotics, CNC and motion control systems, and ROBODRILL machining centers. Our innovative technologies and proven expertise help manufacturers in the Americas to be more efficient, reliable and profitable. We are currently searching for a dynamic, Senior Cost Accountant to take part in month-end closing by preparing and posting all accruals, deferrals, and other adjusting and required journal entries.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance
• Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies
• Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis
• Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, and benchmarks
• Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Process improvement in regard to automation
• Testing with internal and external auditors
• Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
• Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:

• BS/BA Degree in Accounting or related experience
• Aptitude to learn and work with various financial systems and databases
• Experience in Oracle a plus
• 7 years of experience preferred
