      Job Description:

      Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Cost Narrative Writer to join our team! In this role you will get develop clear, compelling, and fully compliant cost narratives that articulate the rationale, methodology, and assumptions behind complex cost and pricing models.

      What You'll Be Doing:

      • Development of business/cost volume narrative.

      • Advise internal clients on risk mitigation and development of winning cost narratives

      • Lead narrative reviews and provide guidance to proposal and capture teams to ensure that proposals compete and compliant.

      • Ensure the final cost proposal’s compliance with:

        • Government regulations, including CAS, FAR, and DFARS

        • Corporate policies and procedures, including the CESM

        • Specific requirements in each of the client’s solicitations

      • Lead the development of the cost narrative with contributing sources including Capture Management, Pricing, Contracts, Procurement, and technical personnel

      • Manage the cost narrative schedule to ensure production milestones, management reviews and a compliant professional product are completed in a timely manner

      • Provide support for subcontract solicitations and contract negotiations

      • Assist with internal and DCAA/DCMA reviews and audits

      • Assist Pricing management with cost narrative reviews, policy compliance initiatives and the review and refinement of policies, procedures, and toolsets

      What Required Skills You'll Bring:

      • BA/BS degree in Business or related field

      • 12+ years of experience in pricing cost proposals for US Federal Government clients

      • Strong Knowledge of all contract types (FFP, CR, T&M, IDIQ, and OTA)

      • Possess advanced skills using Word and Excel

      • Organized, task oriented, reliable, communicative, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

      • Ability to handle multiple, often conflicting, priorities under tight deadlines

      • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

      • Strong understanding of CAS and the FAR and DFARS

      What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

      • MBA Degree

      • 12+ years of experience in pricing cost proposals

      • Experience using Pro-Pricer software

      • Proficiency using MS Office applications including Word and PowerPoint

      Salary Range: $128,700.00 - $231,700.00
